Born and raised in Atlanta, Dr. Deborah Kelly is deeply committed to the well-being of the community where she grew up and now practices. She attended the Lovett School and proudly continued this academic legacy with her daughters. Dr. Kelly graduated cum laude from Wake Forest University and pursued her medical education at the University of California, San Francisco, and the Medical College of Georgia, where she earned her medical degree. She completed her internship and residency at the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, where she also served as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Medicine.

With over twenty-five years of dedication to the Piedmont Healthcare system, Dr. Kelly has been recognized as a Top Doctor in Internal Medicine by Castle Connolly and is a member of the elite Exceptional Women in Medicine. Her practice is grounded by a strong belief in preventive care, emphasizing nutrition, exercise, and a balanced lifestyle to prevent and address a broad spectrum of health concerns. Her expertise includes comprehensive women’s health, from menopause to cardiovascular health, and tailored health strategies for men, fostering their well-being through open dialogue and customized care plans.

A board-certified internist and a proactive member of the Piedmont Hospital medical staff, Dr. Kelly is also a gifted entrepreneur. She founded DK International Healthcare Consultants, LLC to help patients navigate their global healthcare challenges through access to her vetted group of specialists around the world. She is active in the Royal College of Physicians.

Dr. Kelly is highly respected for her contributions to the community, including her support of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and service on the Atlanta Advisory Council for Savannah College of Art and Design, SCAD Atlanta. She is the proud mother of Caelyn, who graduated from The American International School in England, Tasis, and the University College of London, and Elizabeth, who graduated from Episcopal High School and now attends St. Andrews University.
