Mia Stancil, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Mia Stancil, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Mia is passionate about providing preventative and holistic care to all. She believes all aspects of health and wellness play a role in quality of life. She provides personalized, comprehensive primary care to every patient.
She has a particular interest in nutrition and exercise science as it relates to prevention and treatment of disease. Other interests include obesity medicine, endocrine topics, and heart health. She feels it is essential to provide culturally appropriate care to all. She strives to include education and teaching during visits. She seeks to foster informed patient interactions and ongoing health learning. She is also committed to participating in and incorporating current research into her practice.
Mia earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Emory University. She worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient roles that include radiology, oncology, cardiology, critical care and occupational medicine. She then pursued her Master of Science in Nursing from Georgia State University. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and United Advanced Practice Registered Nurses of Georgia. She also has earned degrees from Berry College and Covenant Theological Seminary.
Mia enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves exploring the Atlanta area and beyond. She has particular interest in outdoor recreation, sports, worldwide cuisine, music and the arts.
