Amy Mininberg, MD
Dr. Amy Mininberg is board-certified in internal medicine. She received her medical degree from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine and completed her internship and residency at the University of Virginia Medical Center. During her medical school years, she was inducted into the AOA honor society and did active research on diabetes and heart disease.
Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians at Roswell Road, Dr. Mininberg worked at the Medical Clinic of Houston in Texas and the Central Virginia Community Health Center in Virginia. She is an active community volunteer with organizations such as Project Open Hand and Agape, and she serves as a coach for Girls on the Run at Pace Academy. Dr. Mininberg takes a team approach to medicine. She believes the physician and patient must work together to accomplish the goal of prevention and early treatment.
In her spare time, she enjoys running, hiking, and spending time with her husband, two children and numerous pets.
