Erica L. Peters, MD
Dr. Peters is a native of Findlay, Ohio, and spent her childhood in Greenville, South Carolina. She graduated summa cum laude, First Honor Graduate, from University of Georgia with a bachelor of science in microbiology. She earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia and completed her residency in internal medicine at University Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Peters is board certified in internal medicine and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and the American College of Physicians. She served as adjunct professor of clinical medicine at University of Cincinnati School of Medicine before moving to Atlanta. She has practiced previously in Alpharetta and Johns Creek before joining Piedmont Physicians Group, then Piedmont Internal Medicine. Her special interests include preventive care, management of chronic medical conditions, and women's health. Dr. Peters is married with three children, and enjoys music, hiking, cooking, and travel.
