Andrew Davis, MD
Andrew Davis, MD (he/him) was born and raised in Miami, Florida, and completed medical school at the University of Florida. While there, he was selected by his peers for induction into the Gold Humanism Honor Society, an organization dedicated to compassionate medical care. Dr. Davis went on to complete his internship and residency at Emory University in the Internal Medicine program as part of the Primary Care track, where he trained at several Emory facilities as well as Grady Memorial Hospital. As a member of the Primary Care track, he received additional training in preventive medicine and outpatient care. Dr. Davis also completed the HIV track and spent time at the Grady Ponce de Leon Center, where he provided primary care services to people living with HIV.
Dr. Davis believes that in medicine, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, but that there is always the possibility of the unexpected when it comes to one's health. He endeavors to partner with his patients to maintain their wellbeing and longevity, and to help them through the ups and downs of their personal healthcare journey.
In his free time, Dr. Davis enjoys cooking, baking, and generally experimenting in the kitchen. He also spends his time hiking, kayaking, and reading spy novels.
