Peter Diaz, MD
Dr. Diaz was born in Havana, Cuba and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Emory University. He obtained his medical degree from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency training at Emory University School of Medicine.
Dr. Diaz is a member of the American College of Physicians and Medical Association of Georgia. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He has been practicing private internal medicine and has been affiliated with Piedmont Hospital since 1991.
Dr. Diaz specializes in comprehensive medical care and preventive medicine. He has interests in acute illness, management of chronic disease and diagnostic evaluations. He is fluent in Spanish.
