Elizabeth Hawk, MD
Dr. Hawk is board certified in internal medicine. A native of Athens, Georgia, she graduated phi beta kappa, magna cum laude from Davidson College. She went on to complete her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. During her medical training, she was elected to the alpha omega alpha (AOA) honor society and conducted research at the National Institutes of Health. She completed her internal medicine residency at Atlanta Medical Center.
Dr. Hawk has practiced medicine on the Piedmont Atlanta hospital campus since 2006. She is a member of the American College of Physicians and the Medical Association of Georgia.
Dr. Hawk specializes in the comprehensive medical care of adults, encompassing preventive care, diagnostic evaluations, treatment of acute illness, and management of chronic disease. In a rapidly changing healthcare climate, she believes a strong physician-patient relationship plays a more pivotal role than ever in achieving positive outcomes. Dr. Hawk strives to help her patients be active, involved and informed participants in their own healthcare. She was recently named a Top Doctor by Atlanta Magazine and by Modern Luxury - The Atlantan Magazine as listed by Castle Connolly Top Doctors.
When not working, Dr. Hawk enjoys running, hiking, skiing, and spending time with her husband and two daughters.
