Deborah Kelly, MD, FACP
Deborah Kelly, MD, FACP, is an active member of the Piedmont Hospital Medical Staff and has been Adjunct Associate Professor of Medicine at Emory School of Medicine. Dr. Kelly is a Fellow of American College of Physicians and has been board certified in Internal Medicine since 1998. Currently, Dr. Kelly is active in the American College of Physicians-American Society of Internal Medicine, the American Medical Association, and the American Medical Women's Association. Dr. Kelly attended the Lovett School in Atlanta, graduated Cum Laude from Wake Forest University, attended Medical School at the Medical College of Georgia, and completed her internship and residency at Emory University School of Medicine.
Dr. Kelly's particular areas of interests include preventative medicine with a focus on nutrition, exercise, and a healthy lifestyle. She believes that partnering with patients will achieve optimal health and improved outcomes. She also focuses on women's health issues, menopausal problems, premenstrual syndrome and osteoporosis.
Dr. Kelly is active in the community and supports Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Power and Potential, The Atlanta Ballet, and UNICEF. She is on the Atlanta Advisory Council for Savannah College of Art and Design, SCAD Atlanta. Dr. Kelly has cofounded Art Heals Media Foundation with her husband, Dr. Scott Kelly. She is the proud mother of two daughters who attended the Lovett school through their sophomore years. Caelyn will graduate from The American International School in England, Tasis, and Elizabeth will graduate from Episcopal High School.
