Frances Long, MD
Dr. Fran Long is a native of Unadilla, Georgia. She earned her medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon and completed her residency in internal medicine at Atlanta Medical Center. Dr. Long is board certified in Internal Medicine and has been an active outpatient primary care physician in the Piedmont Atlanta hospital system since 2006. She is a member of the American College of Physicians, the Medical Association of Georgia, and The Menopause Society.
Dr. Long values long-term patient relationships, encourages patients to participate in their healthcare management decisions, and strives to help her patients live their best life, optimizing not just lifespan but health span. Her interests include individualized cardiovascular risk management, aging with strategy from brain to musculoskeletal health, and perimenopause/menopausal transition support, including hormone therapy, mental health and stress management, sleep, weight management, and anti-frailty plans.
Dr. Long and her husband reside in Sandy Springs and have two sons.
