New Policy Announcement
Dear Patient,
Thank you for putting your trust in us. At Piedmont Internal Medicine, your health and continued wellbeing are our primary concerns. We strive to offer you the highest quality of care, and we continue to evaluate ways to better serve you.
Through much discussion and thought, our physicians have adopted a new policy.
Effective June 1st 2017, all Piedmont Internal Medicine patients over the age of 40 are required to receive a comprehensive physical examination each year.
For our patients younger than 40, we strongly encourage but do not require annual physicals. For best comprehensive care, all patients with a chronic condition or on a daily prescription medication, regardless of age, should receive a physical exam on an annual basis.
Without doubt, consistent annual examinations obviate a myriad of life threatening conditions, while they also build rapport between the patient and doctor. At your physical, we are able to perform a comprehensive exam, administer or recommend appropriate screening tests, coordinate your specialists, and provide you with current best practice guidelines.
Please work with our office to arrange your annual physical if you have not done so in the past year.
It is a pleasure to be an advocate for your health.
Sincerely,
The Physicians of Piedmont Internal Medicine Physician, PC
